Diabetes Intervention and Education Program (DIEP)
We have designed a new program to help educate and address the factors that are related to managing the existing disease appropriately and intervening and preventing siblings and children from developing Type 2 Diabetes as well.
Our new Diabetes Intervention and Education Program is designed for the entire family to participate in. It involves diet, exercise, sedentary behaviors, medication management, and overall lifestyle changes with each member of the family accountable to the other.
